Establishment of 43 ADITAL IT rural centers with Internet connection where it never existed before, provided with 226 computers, and assuring digital alphabetization for 3,327 rural producers, thus helping 39,479 rural inhabitants.
In Chachapoyas, a wireless community was established and it was used to extend Internet access to a network of nearby municipalities, which stimulated associability and cooperation between entities in favor of divulgating ICTs.
Thanks to the connectivity employed in Hornillos (San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina) by extending a phone line, the inhabitants of that area now have the phone service they lacked before.
Pergamino, moreover, streamlined the Internet connection achieved through ADITAL in order to establish “Adital Plus”, which includes e-government services, and additionally installed cameras throughout the city in order to increase security in the city. A pilot telework experience has been carried out.
In Rancagua, e-services such as a Multimedia Agriculture Library and a mobile IT center were included.

Two new nationwide satellite systems have been installed in Argentina and Colombia - and 22 new community radio stations have been connected to the ALER satellite system, broadcasting weekly news programs in Europe and Latin America.

Developments of tools for healthcare training by means of telecommunication networks adapted to the rural environment, with low connectivity, low costs and easy to use. A tele-education software has been developed to include an XML editing tool to create courses (the content of which is already in progress) and an e-learning platform adapted to the conditions of rural health personnel, as well as an automation system for the epidemiological surveillance systems (generating, sending and processing reports) which will contribute to the processes of medical updating increase the solving capabilities of healthcare units.

The Red – SOCIAL Interactive Platform, 100% accessible by visually impaired, in Spanish and Portuguese, able to provide e-training courses at various levels and on various subjects.
A package of low-cost IT applications to facilitate the access to information of visually impaired persons, through the computer: a screen reader (LookOUT), a character magnifier (Magnus++), as well as a set of free tools for the reading and processing of documents.
