HCN
The Project named HCN, headquartered in Belo Horizonte (Brazil) originated in a coincidence of intentions by the European Community, the Prefecture of Belo Horizonte, and the Federal Minister of Health, in Brazil: that is, the intention to promote, throughout the national territory of Brazil, the use of technology as an acceleration and improvement factor in the development of citizens’ healthcare.
Upon realizing this coincidence between the general philosophy of the @LIS program for Latin America and the Prefecture of Belo Horizonte’s healthcare schedule, a consortium of Euro-Latin-American partners was swiftly activated, which were declaredly qualified in all the sectors interested in the project, with the aim of supporting the Belo Horizonte experience in several well-defined areas of healthcare policy (IT access to health exams, call center, IT processing for clinical records, tele-healthcare, etc.) and checking for sustainability conditions on a nationwide scale.
